As a product manager, one of the most important tasks is to keep the team focused and aligned on the most critical activities. When a team is spread thin, working on too many things at once, they can become overwhelmed, leading to decreased productivity and a loss of direction.

My Process For Keeping On Top Of Stakeholder Engagement

This is my process for planning the interactions that I need to have with stakeholders. It can be done in 15 minutes, or can be extended for deeper dives. It involves creating a list of stakeholders and assigning them a priority, then evaluating anything that needs to be discussed or done. Action items and meetings can be recorded, and tasks can be delegated. When finished I’m ready to take action.

Bets vs. Experiments

In the last couple of years, the use of betting language has revolutionized conversations about product development, creating more emotional engagement and allowing for deeper discussions about priority and risk.
